This is Larold. His grandkids got him this dang smartphone. Can’t figure out how to use it. Just wants to take a photo of his favorite ball for Facebook but the camera keeps flipping towards him. We believe in you, Larold.

More Dogs

a reddish brown vizsla stands on her hind legs on a narrow path through some overgrown shrubbery. she looks menacing, and a little like she might throw a punch at any second. (don't tell anyone that we know she's not really a kangaroo.)

a photo divided in half between vertical wooden fencing and bright green grass. at the bottom of one of the planks of wood, a few inches have been damaged or removed, and in their place, a golden retriever's snout slots in perfectly. their chin rests on the ground, and their two dark eyes are just visible in the gap. their fur almost blends in with a few scattered leaves nearby.

a medium brown dog stares at you from his seat on a leaf-patterned beige armchair. he has one elbow propped up on the arm, his paw hanging over the front edge nonchalantly. his gaze is intense, and one ear is perked up. there’s a wood-burning stove in the background that gives this photo a real “fireside chats” vibe.

a chocolate colored havanese stands with a concerned expression at the top of a set of porch steps. he’s wearing a gray sweatshirt, a green and yellow puffy vest that’s velcroed shut at the front, and a set of four green and black booties. white fur pops out wildly between the bottom of the sweatshirt sleeves and the tops of the booties.

a tricolor corgi sits in the passenger seat of a car with a clear cup over his snout. his tongue is extended out and curling upward, trying to reach the last little bit of whipped cream in the bottom of the cup.

a little golden retriever puppy sits on a wooden floor looking up at you very innocently. behind her, a clear plant saucer is on its side next to a coffee table with potting soil spilling out of it and onto the floor. the two things are unrelated, allegedly.
